Radio business is now PAT positive: Reliance Broadcast

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Tarun Katial, chief executive officer of Reliance Broadcast says, the radio business is now profit after tax (PAT) positive. Big FM inks sales deal with Dhamaal 24, Rangila FM

MUMBAI: Reliance Media World’s Big FM has entered into a strategic sales alliance with BAG Entertainment’s radio venture Dhamaal 24 and Raneka Fincom Pvt. Ltd’s Rangila FM in Raipur. This alliance further strengthens Big FM’s reach from the current 45 stations to 52 cities by offering additional seven stations. These seven stations include six stations of Dhamaal 24 and one stations of Rangila FM. Anil Ambani Group’s Big 92.7 FM announced on Wednesday that it has entered into an alliance with BBC World Service. The alliance will take BBC’s entertainment updates across the 32 stations of the network. The alliance would feature Big BBC Minute, an hourly update of entertainment news.
