Tata Sky to offer set top boxes for Rs 999
NEW DELHI: Direct-to-Home operator Tata Sky on Wednesday slashed the price of its set top boxes (STBs) to Rs 999, a move that will further fuel the competition in the DTH space. “The aim is to make the STBs as affordable as possible and drive digitisation. Rural markets is a big opportunity and a major portion of our monthly additions are coming from the smaller towns,” Tata Sky Chief Marketing Officer Vikram Mehra told PTI. Videocon d2h targets 1 million subs by June-end
MUMBAI: Videocon d2h, the direct-to-home (DTH) service provider, is targeting a subscriber base of one million by the end of this month. Big TV launches HD with DVR , STBs priced at Rs 7490
MUMBAI: Reliance Big TV has launched its high-definition (HD) set-top box with digital video recording (DVR) technology, making it the first DTH operator in India to offer such a service. The Reliance ADAG company has priced the HD DVR set-top box at Rs 7,490, lesser than Sun Direct HD available at Rs 10,000. The service will be rolled out across India’s top 100 cities. Reliance BIG TV launches HD-ready set top boxes
NEW DELHI: Reliance BIG TV, the DTH arm of Reliance Communications, on Wednesday launched a high-definition set-top box (STB) equipped with digital live TV recording facility, priced at Rs 7,490.
