Radio City offers listeners a serenading night out with Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh
MUMBAI: Radio City 91.1 FM, India’s first and leading private FM radio brand, and Shree Krupa Medical Aid and Research Foundation hosted a fund-raising charity ghazal night with Padmabhushan Jagjit Singh. Rana Barua quits Radio City
MUMBAI: Radio City EVP and national head programming Rana Barua has called it a day. Currently servicing his notice period, Barua was associated with Radio City for four years. Confirming the news, Barua says, “Yes, I have put in my papers at Radio City. Radio City 91.1 enters audio books segment
Another player has entered the fledgling audio books category in the country. In a new business initiative, FM channel Radio City 91.1 FM has launched the City of Tales brand of audio books. The other notable player in this segment is the Chennai-based Karadi Tales, part of ACK Media which owns the Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle brands of books and comics based largely on Indian culture.
