Anil Ambani’s direct-to-home (DTH) division Reliance BIG TV is in talks for high definition (HD) content to be aired on its DTH platform. MUMBAI: Anil Ambani-owned BIG 92.7 FM, plans to seal alliances with radio networks in the north east and is eyeing the south as well in a bid to expand its footprint. “BIG 92.7 FM has plans for more alliances after the ones it has struck with Radio Dhamaal and Rangila FM. Big TV, Fox Star join hands to promote ‘Avatar’

MUMBAI: Big TV, the Anil Ambani-owned direct-to-home (DTH) company, has entered into a marketing alliance with Fox Star Studios for promoting James Cameron’s magnum opus Avatar in India. As part of the deal, Big TV will run a month-long 360 degree marketing campaign and will launch a 30-second English television commercial (TVC) featuring the cast of the film. Anil Ambani Group’s Big 92.7 FM announced on Wednesday that it has entered into an alliance with BBC World Service. The alliance will take BBC’s entertainment updates across the 32 stations of the network. The alliance would feature Big BBC Minute, an hourly update of entertainment news.
