New Delh July 4: The largest Direct to Home (DTH) service provider Dish TV has hiked rates for its monthly subscription packs beginning this month. The company has increased prices of its monthly packs for its existing consumers except in the southern States that include Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Naidu. NOIDA, India; May 16, 2012 – Dish TV India Limited (Dishtv) (BSE: 532839, NSE: DISHTV) today reported fourth quarter fiscal 2012 audited standalone revenues of Rs. 5,247 million, recording 21.2% growth over the corresponding period last fiscal. EBITDA of Rs. 1,442 million registered a significant 59.9% increase over the corresponding quarter last fiscal. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 27.5%. TDSAT directs ESPN to sign new channel pact with Dish TV

NEW DELHI: Broadcast tribunal TDSAT has directed ESPN to enter into a new a commercial agreement with Dish TV based on RIO that specifies terms for DTH operators to get signals from broadcasters. “The petition of Dish TV is allowed. The parties are directed to enter into an agreement with effect from September 1, 2011 which would be governed by the modified RIO,” said a TDSAT bench headed by its Chairman Justice S B Sinha.
