PUNE: DTH Company Dishtv has introduced a new recharge offer for its silver saver and gold saver subscribers wherein if the subscribers recharge their subscription for three months, they would get four months worth of subscription in return.

The latest recharge scheme is a limited programme offered by the company to its subscribers in view of DishTV attaining a 7 million subscriber mark.

Launching the scheme here on Tuesday, chief operating officer (COO), IT, DishTV India, V K Gupta said, “We are committed to delighting our customers through superior technology, great customer service and best value for money to celebrate seven million subscribers milestone,” adding that the company would always endeavour to offer competitively superior, differentiated service to all DishTV customers.

On the occasion, Gupta also unveiled a special acquisition offer ‘World Cup Se World Cup Tak’. With the launch , the Sports fans can enjoy more sports than ever with 12-month Gold Pack plus Set Top Box for Rs 3,190 and four-month Gold Pack plus Set Top for Rs 1,690 along with an extra installation cost of Rs 200.

The year 2010 is full of back to back sporting action, with IPL, Twenty-20 World Cup, FIFA World Cup, ICC world Cup being hosted in India, interspersed with Champions league and Common Wealth Games. The company understands just how passionate sports fans can be, therefore DishTV has included all the sports channels in the Gold Pack for discerning customers for non-stop sports action at just Rs 210 per month, Gupta added.

Even as rival DTH players are more focused on increasing their subscriber base, Gupta said DishTV is the only DTH player that has kept its promise to offer newer value added schemes. Responding to a query on the new services, he said the latest offers have been targeted keeping in mind a pan-India audience, but the company is still offering some other schemes for customers located in south India.
