MUMBAI: Radio City Connect, the activation arm of Radio City, has partnered with Force India F1 team for the ‘Corporate Go Karting Championship’.

The event will be held across Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Starting 20 June, there will be regional rounds across the five cities.

Winners will be divided into two categories -the winning driver -’Corporate Go Karting Champion’ and the winning company ‘Go Karting Champions Company.’

The top three winners from each region will compete for the all-India championship title which will be held in Mumbai on 28 June. The national winner and runner-up will get an opportunity to be part of the Singapore Grand Prix and also a chance to meet up the Force India F1 Team.

“India is slowly becoming a strong hub for F1 activities and fans. We are extremely delighted about the partnership as Go Karting provides the thrill of motor sports even to those who do not harbour professional aspirations,” says radio City president sales Ashit Kukian.

Maruti Suzuki Ritz is the presenting sponsor of the event; Kingfisher Airlines is the airline partner while Planetradiocity.com is the online partner for the entire event. Reliance mobile, Cadbury Bourneville and Aegon Religare Life Insurance are the event’s associate sponsors.
