Dishtv DTH Service crosses 4.5 mn customer mark

Mumbai: Direct-to-home company Dishtv announced that it now has 4.5 million customers in the country. To celebrate this milestone, Dishtv presented a Hyundai Verna Car to the 4.5th million customer. Dishtv brand ambassador Shahrukh Khan was present and handed over the keys of the car to Subhajit Roy from Mumbai.

The company says it has a market share of more than 53 per cent of the total subscriber base of 8 million. Dishtv’s footprint covers 5400 towns across India.

Khan said, “Dishtv values relationships and this initiative is an effort to reward the valued customers and appreciate their trust. Dishtv has always stood by its promise of pioneering vision, adherence to quality, technological innovations and breakthrough initiatives.”

Dishtv MD Jawahar Goel said, “We are pleased to achieve the special milestone of 4.5 million happy customers. This landmark is testimony to the superior and affordable DTH services that we offer to all our customers across India.”

    Well its good to see that disht is the only dth to cross 4.5 million subscription bas and also continue on the road to further growth as thay have added 4.3 lakh customer last month that is in only 30 days. which is more then 50 % of the total customers added by all dth players.
