Big TV, LG tie up for DTH services
Source: The Economic Times NEW DELHI: Big TV, direct-to-home arm of Reliance Communications’ on Thursday joined hands with LG Electronics offering its DTH service to LG TV buyers at Rs 700 for three months. Under the tie up all those who purchase LG 29 inch TV buyers a three month DTH subscription for Rs 700 without paying any installation charges, the company said in a statement. After the three month period, subscribers can choose their own tariff plans, it said. Aksh Optifibre to offer quad play

The company has already tested this technology and is keenly waiting for allocation of the 3G spectrum. Sun TV to launch FM stations in Sikkim, Mizoram
Source: The Economic Times CHENNAI: The city-based television major Sun TV Network Ltd, through its subsidiary South Asia FM, will launch FM radio stations in Gangtok and Aizawl, the respective capital cities of Sikkim and Mizoram, a company official said. Holding licences for 45 FM stations in the country, the Sun TV group has launched 43 so far, the latest in Siliguri of West Bengal Tuesday.
