Dish TV, the leading direct-to-home (DTH) company, has launched an new pack called Happy Home Pack at a value of Rs 100, which is customized to offer entertainment in all genres such as general entertainment channel, sports, business, news, movies and cinema.

This pack also provides regional channels in 8 different languages. Dish TV also announced that now at an initial price of Rs 1990, the Dish TV subscribers will take home the set top box along with dish antenna and can enjoy 12 months subscription of the happy Home pack (125 channels) absolutely free.

“Our offer is in line with our overall target of acquiring five million DTH subscribers by March 31, 2009. At Rs. 100 per month, we are offering the largest bouquet of channels — something for everyone in the Home. This will help us speed up the subscriber acquisitions,” said Vinay Agarwal, CEO, Dish TV.

“Now owning a DTH will become more affordable for the consumers. We have reduced the entry-level price of monthly subscriptions on DTH platform to Rs 100, which is very competitive with the existing monthly charges paid by consumers to their local cable operators”. Agarwal added.
